Here I will show you a short example of a typical surebet.
TENNIS
Australian Open Women (Tuesday, 16.1.2007 at 6:00)
Tamira Paszek (AUT) – Severine Bremond (FRA)
Winamax
Odd for a win of Tamara Paszek: 2,3
Pinnaclesport
Odd for a win of Severine Bremont: 2,01
The win for you here would be 7,3% (both odds are above 2,0).
OK, now we have to know how much we are betting on Paszek and on Bremond. We always begin with the better player (lower odds):
Step 1: We bet 100$ for a win of Bremont at Winamax.
If Bremont wins we will get 100 x 2,01 = 201$ paid out.
But this is a surebet, so we also have to bet for a win of Paszek.
Step 2: The question is how much do we have to bet on a win of Paszek?
We devide the win for Bremont by the odds for Paszek:
201$ / 2,3 = 87,4$
Ok, now we bet 87,4$ on a win of Paszek… we will get paid out with 201$ for her win too.
RESULT:
Win Bremont: 201$ from Winamax
Win Paszek: 201$ from Pinnaclesports
Our total money in bets: 187,4$.
Our win: 13,6$
The win is nice. But this was just an example, normally we are playing with higher wagers, like 300$. So the win would be 41$.
